Get Involved

The True North Adaptive Yoga program is made possible by generous funding from the Miller Dwan Foundation’s Van Gordon New Initiatives Outreach Fund, as well as a group of generous and dedicated volunteers who donate their free time to come and assist with the classes.  Many volunteers come to us by way of the College of St. Scholastica Physical and Occupational Therapy programs, and other volunteers come from the Twin Ports community.

Interested in volunteering?

True North Adaptive Yoga provides informal volunteer training intermittently throughout the year, on an individual as-needed basis, and partners with Yoga North to provide more formal and in-depth adaptive yoga training.

If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, please contact Elizabeth Albrecht at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Northland: or 218-726-4834 x3

Interested in teaching?

As the True North Adaptive Yoga program expands, we are always looking for experienced and enthusiastic teachers to join our team.

For details on in-depth teacher training and qualifications needed for teaching adaptive yoga, please contact Teri Sanders at Yoga North: or 218-722-9642
